CA Locality Mid-Year Minimum Wage Updates – Effective July 1, 2025 💰

The policy requirements include recognizing and correcting hazards, training employees on idIt’s that time again—California cities are rolling out their mid-year minimum wage updates, effective July 1, 2025.
From the tech hubs of the Bay Area to the sun-soaked streets of SoCal, cities like Emeryville are leading the charge with a new rate of $19.90/hour, while San Francisco and Berkeley aren’t far behind. Down south, Los Angeles City is stepping up to $17.87/hour, and Santa Monica is matching that energy at $17.81/hour.
