San Diego native Carmen studied Business Administration at UC Riverside, and has since gained 20+ years’ Labor Compliance and Payroll experience. Carmen’s expertise is vital to providing our clients top-notch service spanning everything from building programs for general contractors, assisting with prevailing wage requirements, full-cycle payroll consulting, to process implementations. Our clients appreciate Carmen’s commitment, thoroughness, sense of ownership, and strong communication skills. When not being a Labor Compliance/Payroll guru, Carmen loves spending time with her family – she enjoys boating, camping, and coaching sports.
Nancy also a native to San Diego holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management, a Certificate in Human Resources Management, and is both a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Nancy brings to TPPS 20 years of progressive Human Resources experience. Nancy enjoys navigating clients through the complex and sometimes scary world of employment while helping to simplify compliance, mitigate risk, and create strategic and sustainable policies, procedures, and best practices. When not working, which is rare, Nancy enjoys spending time with her dogs, volunteering for German Shepherd Rescue, and being outdoors with friends and family.

Alicia, a San Diego native, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara. Her career began in the Education field, where she gained her first exposure to HR. Motivated to expand her knowledge, she made the decision to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Psychology in England. Her studies equipped her with valuable skills in improving employee engagement and motivation, leadership strategies, performance management methods, and more. After her studies, she stayed in England to work in HR and gained experience in recruiting, training, DE&I, onboarding, employer branding, and employee motivation. Alicia is back living in San Diego with her dog, Sophie, and fiancé. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, food, hiking, the beach, and spending time with her family.
Aminah began her employment early in life in the Food and Beverage industry. She soon became part of the management teams for multiple establishments. These jobs provided excellent training for many valuable skills having to do with organization, scheduling, work ethics, employee supervision, and the goal of providing excellent service. As life progressed, she moved into a Payroll position and found the niche she had been anticipating throughout her exploration through employment.
Ashley was born and raised in Sacramento and earned her BS in Sports Management from Post University. After working in the sports industry for 4 years, she moved to Baltimore to transition into data analysis and human resources where she could provide a greater impact working with employees across the US, UK, and Canada. Highly motivated and results-oriented, she earned her PHR in 2021 and will join the team as a payroll coordinator where she will utilize her expertise to support our client base. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and knitting and crafting for family and friends.
Bella joins our team as a Human Resources Coordinator with 3 years of experience. During that time, she had many duties including onboarding and offboarding, as well as employee relations and training. With two years prior working as an entry level employee in her company before transferring into Human Resources, she understands that having an open ear to the client will best serve in finding solutions. Bella is known for thinking outside of the box and finding creative solutions to complex problems. In her free time, Bella is an active swimmer, loves to read and has massive pride in her continuously expanding library, and loves hanging out with her friends and family.
Cassidy was born and raised in San Diego, and attended college at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho (Go Broncos!), where she earned her bachelor’s in general business with a Supply Chain Management minor. After graduating, she spent some time in Las Vegas working in procurement and government contracting. Upon returning to San Diego, she began working in the Human Resources and Payroll world for 3 years where she discovered that her true passion was in processing payroll. Cassidy enjoys all things music – whether it is singing, dancing or concerts. When she is not in the office, she enjoys staying in and reading a book, doing a craft, or a puzzle. She also loves staying active by hiking, taking her daughter for walks, and Pilates classes.
Christine was born and raised in Northern New Jersey but has spent a larger part of her life becoming a California girl. She is happily married with one young daughter. Christine has customer service in her DNA, being that her experience is grounded in over 17 years in the retail industry. Christine is passionate about doing the right thing for her employees and clients. Onboarding, process improvements, employee engagement, and employee development are what drives her in her career. In her spare time, she loves trying new restaurants with her husband, as well as cooking, baking, entertaining her friends and family, and relaxing at the beach. Greece and Thailand are two of her favorite places in the world and she continues to find new countries to explore.
Cristina is from Southern California but spent a large portion of her life in the Bay Area. She is happily married with 2 young boys and one doggy.
She has 5 years of experience in Human Resources including payroll processing, benefits administration, full cycle onboarding, and employee exits, among other HR duties. She also worked in the Purchasing department for 4 years. She has a passion for payroll processing and enjoys learning all the latest details on this subject. She’s naturally altruistic, cooperative and she is always smiling. When not in the office, you can find her cooking for her family, watching a movie (at home or the movie theater), or at the beach. You can also find her alongside her husband searching for collectible items to add to their collections. While her family and work duties keep her busy, she’s always looking to learn new things. The current subject is Photography, and she is looking forward to getting a professional camera to take as many photos of dogs and landscapes as possible!
Haley was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Boise State University (Go Broncos!). While in college, she held leadership roles with her sorority and interned for a tech firm assisting with an HRIS conversion. After graduation, Haley joined an IT staffing firm working as a Technical Recruiter – sourcing, hiring, and onboarding candidates. Haley is a natural relationship builder who enjoys partnering with employers to help achieve their business goals, while also supporting employees through their employment journey. In her spare time, Haley loves traveling, spending time with friends & family, attending sporting events and concerts.
Juliana was born and raised in Brazil. She earned her business bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. She has been working in the HR field since her first internship, while still in college. Juliana has worked in multiple industries and applied HR practices in countries like Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts, practicing yoga, swimming, and going camping with her family and friends. One of Juliana’s favorite extracurricular activities is teaching Career Readiness at Mira Costa Community College. She is passionate about developing people’s skills and helping professionals achieve successful careers.
Mandy was born and raised in Seattle and made the move to sunny San Diego in 2023. She spent the greater part of her career in the hospitality industry and in 2021 made the move over to Human Resources. She completed her BS at Western Governors University with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Mandy realized that the soft skills that she learned in the restaurant industry transferred over well to HR. She has human resources experience in the construction and hospitality industry prior to coming on board with Total Package HR. Mandy has customer service at her core and understands that the people are who matter. While not in the office she spends most of her time cooking, going out and trying new restaurants, reading historical fiction, and exploring San Diego.
Melissa has been a payroll administrator for 8+ years with it spent primarily in the automotive industry before switching to HR. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UOPHX in 2015 for Criminal Justice with a focus on human services. She loves payroll because it gives her the best of both worlds – people and numbers. She enjoys the outdoors & is a nature lover at heart, with a particular fondness for plants & the sun. Her inspiration people are The Rock & Pitbull, and she enjoys going to concerts, specifically country or hip hop/R&B. She enjoys spending time with her niece & nephews, as well as her boyfriend. While she currently does not have any pets, getting a dog is in this year’s plan!
Mirayah, a Business Administration student at CSUSM is our dedicated HR intern. Driven by a passion for creating positive work environments. With developing skills of communication and problem solving, she envisions contributing to recruitment processes, employee development, and fostering a workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion. Beyond her internship, Mirayah enjoys doing Pilates, walking her dog Majestic, finding new local coffee shops, and hanging out with friends and family. She is also working towards obtaining her SHRM – CP this year. Mirayah envisions making a meaningful impact in the HR field and loves learning everything HR!
Nathalia is a skilled virtual professional from the Philippines, specializing in bookkeeping, calendar management, and customer service. With over 7 years in the industry, she has honed her expertise in ensuring client satisfaction through disciplined work and meticulous attention to detail. Nathalia excels in delivering exceptional customer experiences, leveraging her deep understanding of service excellence.
Outside work, Nathalia finds joy in quality family time and cherishes moments with her pets. An avid traveler, she explores new destinations locally with her dogs, Primo and Kobe, delighting in discovering diverse cuisines and cultures within her country.
Nicole uses her Sociology degree and aPHR certification to apply understanding, observation, and excellent communication with our clients in her role as an HR Generalist where she assists our group with all aspects of the employee lifecycle. With ten years of experience in office administration as well as several years in human resources, Nicole works to become an extension of our client’s team earning the trust of employees and business owners. As a San Diego native, Nicole works with the San Diego Humane Society to neuter/spay neighborhood cats so that they can be adopted into loving homes or released back into the community. If she isn’t busy rescuing cats, she may be found cross stitching, gardening, or practicing yoga.
Ricky is a small-town Ohio native with a lot of experience living/working around the world thanks to his time in the U.S Navy. Although he has experience in several industries, it was during his time in the Navy that he truly learned the power of hard-work and collaboration. This shaped Ricky as a real people-person which led him to pursue a career in HR following his bachelor’s degree in HR Management from San Diego State University. Ricky is excited to be part of the TPHR team where he aspires to develop into a very well-rounded HR professional and utilize his passion for helping others. Outside of work, you can find Ricky either spending time with his son, relaxing by the water, or on the dance floor with a group of friends.
One of our resident HR Business Partners and SHRM-CP, Rylee joins our team as a Human Resources Business Partner with 6 years of experience in many HR duties including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and staying on top of HR trends. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Cal State Northridge and a master’s degree in human resources development from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) She takes pride in providing the best customer service and being able to make HR fun and easy for customers. In her spare time she enjoys working out, watching movies, and trying to visit every national park.
Sadina began her career in HR after discovering her customer service skills could be focused towards employee support and organizational growth. With a BS in Business, Sadina added a HR Management certification through George Mason University and acquired the SPHR certification from HRCI. Experience from retail, construction, and tech industries, provides her with a solid background to pull from as she supports the diverse businesses within our TPPS portfolio. Sadina enjoys the challenge of understanding employment law while navigating the many unique situations that arise from working with people. If you have a complicated leave of absence case Sadina will jump in and ensure the employee feels fully supported while also sorting out the complexities from an administrative and legal position. Outside of work Sadina is a mom of twin boys and stays very active keeping up with them and all their energy.
Samantha joins TPHR with an extensive customer service and operational background in a variety of industries including hospitality, biotechnology, higher education, and statewide governance. She has led the development and implementation of a multitude of initiatives throughout her career but finds the greatest satisfaction in witnessing the growth of her students and clients through learning and development programs. Samantha graduated from University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and is soon to earn her PHR certification. She considers herself a polyglot in training and is fluent in American Sign Language, and proficient in a smattering of other languages. Samantha is a true foodie at heart and you can find her at either the local hole-in-the-wall or the nearest Michelin 3-star. When not searching out new restaurants, Samantha is most likely to be curled up with a book and a cup of tea at home with either her cat or her chickens.
Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree in English & Comparative Literature at San Diego State. She then went on to receive her Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management from San Diego State. She enjoys working in HR because of the complex nature of the field itself and enjoys learning how to approach the various challenging scenarios that come up in the workplace. She finds personal value in being in a supportive role to employees in the workplace while balancing compliance needs at the same time. Some of Sarah’s hobbies and interests include running, reading and watching movies.
